  Brass Instruments 
  • 1951 Conn 44H Trombone. Voca Bell. Great compression.
    Lacquer is 75% intact. Bell dents burnished out. Inner
    slides have no wear and are in great condition. Comes
    with a Conn #3 MPC and a used Olds T-Bone case. A
    Great vintage playing horn at a reasonable price. $495

  • 1947 F.E.Olds (Los Angeles) Studio Trombone. Solid nickel silver
    bell flair, braces, tunning slide and slide crook. Dark tone, all
    original parts and lacquer. No dents. Dual bore slide and bell
    are in beautiful condition. Upper slide bore is .525 , lower slide
    bore is .540. Comes with a period case in fair condition.

  • Trombone Mouthpiece: Conn Visable Embrochure HI500
    Beautiful condition. $95

  • 1957 Olds Opera Trumpet. Solid nickel silver bell ,lead pipe,
    and slide sleeves. Brass crooks. Large bore .466/68. I believe
    this one is a relacquer but the engraving to the bell is still very
    sharp. There is some slight wear to the valve plating but they
    move freely. Compression is good. Comes with a complete clean
    out, ports set, and new water corks. No MPC. Good solid case.
    Somewhat rare. $650.  SOLD 2/11 


    1952 New York Bach Model 6 Trombone. This is all original. The cellulose
    based lacquer has developed a darker patina with its age. The case is in 
    excellent condition. This instrument had just one owner. The outside upper
    slide had a slight bend and was removed,repaired,realigned and resoldered 
    No dents in the bell or slide. Comes with some original paper work including
    "How to care for your slide" instructions. Also comes with a Mt Vernon 
    12C mouthpiece that would need to be replated if used. Sold on E-Bay

  • 1989/90 Blessing Flugal Horn. Solid copper bell with 3rd slide trigger.
    This flugal sat on a shelf and was not used much. Like new condition.
    Monel valves are perfect. Comes with a complete clean out,  ports
    checked and set. Case is like new also. Beatifull!!! $795. SOLD 2/11

  • Selmer Claude Gordon Trumpet.  Selmer started production of this model
    in 1984. This serial number, #1044, may be from the late 80's. It is in
    near mint condition.Comes with a clean out, ports checked, ready to play.
    Not ment to be played by the timmed or shy. Very large bore at .470
    Comes with original, case in near new condition, and the
    original Claude Gordon mouthpiece. Clear lacquer finish, nickel silver

  •  1970 King Super 20 Tenor Sax #460xxx. All new pads. 
     20% lacquer remaining. A great  pro playing horn. The
     neck and bell are made of brass verses silver on the
     earlier models. Solid nickel silver key hinges with brass engraved key
     cups. No dents. Comes with a good solid case. $2195. (Pics at bottom)

     
  •  1936 Conn "Lady Face" Alto Sax. Rolled tone holes. New
     pads and springs. Complete play condition overhaul. A
     used looking but very fine playing alto. $1350. (Pics at Bottom)

     1971 Selmer Mark V1 Tenor sax. All new pads ,corks,and
     springs. Dings and dents burnished out with 60% of the 
     original lacquer in tact. Comes with original Selmer pro case.
     The neck has never been bent or repaired. There is no serial
     number on it and from all the information I have found means
     this sax was assembled in Paris. No serious damage such as  a  
     bent body or damaged tone holes. All tone holes were inspected
     and lightly refaced with diamond circular tone hole files. Plays
     down to low B flat and sub tones with ease. A very solid horn
     that will last for years to come.  $4295

    1937 Buescher Aristocrat Tenor Sax. Big, beautiful tone. Original
    lacquer is 99% intact. Some splotching to the bell  face. All new
    corks, felts and JL Smith premium pads with  Buescher snaps and
    Norton springs. The previous owner said she received this sax from
    her parents in 1940. Hasn't been played much in the last 60 years!
    The case is not original but comes from the same era. It is in decent
    working condition. $1895. Dark cellulose lacquer patina. (Pics at bottom)

    1928 Buescher Soprano Sax. Cleaned and hand polished silver plate.
    All new J.L. Smith pads and corks, and, all new blue steel needle springs.
    Original case is in good working condition. Comes with the original
    Buescher mouthpiece and a Vandoren #5 mouthpiece (plastic). $1495

    Sax Mouthpieces

     Selmer Jazz metal C** Alto sax with cap and ligature
     Like new......$225. List price is $650

     Brillhardt 5* metal Level Air Alto sax with cap and
     ligature. Excellent condition. $95. List price is $180

     Vintage Brillhart Ebolin Tenor Sax mouthpiece from Great Neck, N.Y.
     #5 stamped on the back table denotes an early example from the
     late 40's or early 50's. No damage to the bite plate, rails or chamber.
     The top side logo is worn away but not scratched or damaged. Serial
     number is 5 digits, #37947. Comes with what I believe to be the original
     clear plastic cap  designed for an inverted ligature. Very nice, $170


     Clarinets

     1950's/60's Evette Schaeffer Clarinet. Same as the current Buffet
     E13 semi pro model clarinet. Overhauled : new cork pads,
     bladder style pads on the large bottom key cups. Beautiful 
     condition. Comes with a new case and original Evette Schaeffer 
     mouthpiece. Undercut tone holes. Serial number K4309. $1095

     

     
     
     1962 Buffet R13. All original, no cracks. Absolutly one of most beautiful
     examples I've ever seen. The wood grain is deep and lush. Very open
     tone. All new lucien delux pads at the bottom keys combined with cork
     pads on the upper joint and upper half of the bottom joint. Original case
     and mouthpiece. New list is over $4000. $1895. SOLD 11/10
     
  •  1965 Buffet R13 Clarinet. This golden era Buffet is also perfect in every
     way. Beautiful wood grain with a big free blowing open tone. All new
     Lucien Delux pads at the bottom combined with cork pads on the upper
     joint. The case is not original but is excellent. No mouthpiece. $1795

    Flutes
     
  •   1962 Haynes Flute, open hole, low B foot, solderd tone holes. All
      solid silver. Just overhauled with Straubinger pads. Another example
      of superb craftmanship from Haynes. SOLD $4650


      1905 Haynes Flute, Grenedella wood, solid silver keys to low C
      This flute is on indefinite hold and will be posted when completed

  •   Miyazawa Flute. Open hole to low C. Solid silver head joint, solid
      nickel silver body, and keys, with silver over plate. Offset G and split E.
      Similar model as the Muramatsu EX flute except for the C foot.
      Comes with a complete Straubinger pad overhaul! Model 95SRE,
      serial number 36xxx. Original case. Beautiful tone. (pics at bottom)

    Bassoons

      1964 Moennig "Artist Speciial" bassoon with Heckel Bocal. This bassoon
      had just one owner and comes with all new pads and corks. Whisper
      key lock, high D, 23 keys, 5 rollers. Very well built solid maple wood.
      All original finish in excellent condition. Case looks like new and has been
      protected with an outside zippered cover. Comes with a # 1 Moennig
      bocal and a CC2 (A440 hard German silver, thick wall) Heckel bocal.
      The Heckel bocal provides a freeer blowing more open tone with excellent
      intonation.New list on a Heckel bocal is $915. Boot seat strap and
